The Best Time Ive Ever Had Watching TV

This is truly one of the best shows ever created. After I saw the first Episode I couldnt stop watching.

THE SHOW COULD BE DESCRIBED AS A BREATH OF FRESH AIR. THE CAST WAS WELL CHOSEN. I PERSONALLY ENJOY WATCHING THE SHOW.I HAVE NO PROBLERMS WITH GIVING FIVE STARS!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the only television program I watch every week. HBO is the greatest for picking top notch series. I think they chose the absolute best actors for each of the characters. They make you take a look at yourself after each episode, and reflect on your own life. It is wonderful how they have taken a subject as untraditional as funerals, and made it so interesting and necessary for the whole story. I can only imagine the evolution of each character: Nate with his medical condition, David and his "friendship" with Keith, Brenda and her new found interest in "watching", Clare and her ever confusing state of surviving high school, and last but not least, Ruth...trying to figure out just who she is and what is her meaning in life. I hope Mare Winningham's character was correct in saying that Nate is going to be fine. Please don't let that go on too long. There are so many other good stories they could pursue than this. Again, HBO, you've come up with the best. I love Sopranos, Sex in the City, and Oz....but this is by far the best television I have seen in a long, long time. Thank you Alan Ball, and keep it up.

What a find! Never thought I'd say something outdid the Sopranos, but this show clearly shines. Excellent writing, casting and acting! The subject matter is handled with truth and humor. Very much in the "American Beauty" tradition. Watching the characters and subjects develop has turned into an addiction. My husband and I rarely watch TV but this has us hooked. Never dreamed that death, mental illness, and homophobias could be handled so well and be so entertaining. At some point every show I am moved and then next will be laughing hysterically. You caught us in the act with this one.!

This show is excellent. It has a great cast and very interesting. I am waiting for it to come out so I can buy the set. I enjoy this show VERY much. Great Plot and a Great all together show!
