Album oh the year!

Pros: Awesome album, great lyrics, raw emotion, etc.

Cons: Nothing..just wish it was longer!

I've been a fan of Eric Church since he hit the airwaves and saw him live the first time in July 2006. And I wish I then I knew what I do now. I finally bought his cd over 6 months later and it hasn't left my cd player since. And no, I’...m not tired of it yet either! When I bought it I didn't know 100% what to expect because I'd only heard what the radio was playing but by the time the chorus hit in the first track, Before She Does I knew I was hooked! So I kept listening and finally I got to the song, Lighting and stopped because I wasn't sure what it was at first because it sounded nothing like the others. It was one heck of a song that’s for sure though! That very day I hopped online and joined the Eric Church boards and street team which is adorned with the name, The Church Choir. After reading and reading, I finally figured out the story behind Lighting and it made more sense...still loving it, but I just like to put a song with a story/person. Since then I've traveled well over 10,000 miles in less then 7 months to all over the US. I've fallen in love with the music this man creates and just can't get enough. The album is just a small piece of what he really is and if there is anyway I can influence one person to go to a show you'll be hooked! It isn’t about Eric Church and selling records. It isn’t about making money and selling t-shirts. Its about his fans. The people he makes the music for. If I was ever in my life given something/someone to believe in.
