Synopsis: Sing (1989)

When a volatile young street tough with a talent for singing and dancing is tapped by the high school music teacher to lead the upcoming senior "Sing," he is forced to come to terms with his defiant self-destructive lifestyle and his growing attraction to his co-star.

    I first saw this movie when I was a senior in high school. I was part of the dance/drill team and our competition piece was from Sing. It has taken me a few years to track down this movie but I have finally found it. The story is great, the dance and... music is somewhat cheeszy but if you put that aside the movie turns about to be a great flic to sit around, pop popcorn with your girlfriends and enjoy. A must have movie if you already own Dirty Dancing, Footloose, and Grease. Read more Less
