Silver Wolf (2001)

A father and son bonding trip goes horribly wrong in this heart pounding action-adventure film. When Jesse and his father decide to take a snow boarding trek together in the midst of a mountainous wilderness, they do not anticipate all of the danger to come! A sudden storm hits and tragically kills Jesse's father, leaving him injured and nearly alone--his only companion being an equally wounded young wolf named Silver. Though Jesse is eventually rescued, he finds himself unable to leave the wilderness without finding poor Silver, who has disappeared and is in danger of being captured by a cruel rancher.
