Pros: great song style and very good vocals and meanigful lyrics
Cons: some soongs seem to sound alike to often
this album really is the kind that i can put on repeat and listen over and over through out the day

I love this cd. I had bought it because I love a couple of songs on it, but when I listened to the whole cd, i was actually surprised at how good they were. They are a wonderful band and I would recommend this cd to ANYONE. I am usually not a rock kinda person,(more country and r&b). Definitely buy this cd. It is wonderful.

I had never heard of Nickelback until You Remind Me came out on the radio. Then I heard Too Bad on the radio. I decided to buy the Silver Side Up CD and I am very glad I did. Every song is great and I think Chad Kroeger is a very talented writer/artist. Oh, and he is not bad to look at either!!! I highly recommend Nickelback to everyone I meet. They deserve to skyrocket with success.

From the first track to the last, the album is solid all around. It has a great mix of different sounds and is very deep lyrcally. The subject matter is very refreshing....not as monumental as Pearl Jam's evenflow....but it is up there....if you like rock and are looking for an album that gives you songs that let you rage against a disfuntional family, as well as the abuse of women and jealousy....then this is for sure the cd for you....

THIS IS ONE OF THE CD'S I DON'T HAVE ON VINYL WHICH I WON'T FIND ANYTIME SOON. AND THE MUSIC OF NICKELBACK IS VERY ENJOYABLE. IT'S HARD ROCKING GOODNESS. I ENJOY NICKELBACK A LOT. PERIOD.
