    Signals, Calls, And Marches only hints at what Burma would do on Vs., but the material on this EP is superb. "That's When I Reach For My Revolver" and "Academy Fight Song," which was released as a single and wasn't on the original EP, are two of the ...best songs in Burma's catalog, while the instrumental "All World Cowboy Romance" is fantastic. Mission Of Burma is still way too overlooked, so get this and be amazed. Read more Less

    If you're deciding whether to get into Mission of Burma, you need to ignore the previous 'review' whose author admits to have heard nothing other than this ep. Do not buy this ep, buy either Vs. or find the self-titled collection. Mission of Burma we...re vastly innovative and were anything but 'emo'. Read more Less

    I had never heard Burma before, so I was looking for the complete-discography Rykodisc CD with everything on it. Unfortunately it's out of print so I settled on this one which seemed to have most of the famous songs. It's not a bad listen but I was ...really surprised at how overrated these guys are. They sound more like some damn emo band than the consummate artists I was led to believe they were. Read more Less
