Shrapnel
Shrapnel got its start in 1977 on New York's punk/new wave club scene, although their music was closer to glammy pop-metal. The group consisted of Daniel Rey (guitar), Dave Wyndorf (vocals), Dave Vogt (guitar), Philip Calvano (bass), and Dan Clayton (drums). Shrapnel stuck around long enough to record a self-titled, five-song EP for Elektra in 1984, produced by the Psychedelic Furs' Vince Ely.
