Her second volume of tributes to Indian film music's 'Immortals.' Here she pays tribute to Mukesh, Mohd. Rafi, Hemant Kumar, Geeta Dutt and Parul Ghosh. This double set is a far better introduction than many of the label's recyclings and theme albums. Although her spoken introductions in Hindi are not translated, listen and marvel at the lavish scale and sweep of her film songs. She helped to define one of the most popular musical genres in the world.
