Short Circuit 2 (1988)

Johnny 5 realizes hippie liberals Steve Guttenberg and Ally Sheedy careers are over and moves to New York to make it big on his own. Indian stereotype from SC1 follows him and discovers J5's plan to make minature robots of himself in order to ta...ke over the world. Not wanting this to happen he takes a timemachine back to the 80's to try to kill Steve Guttenberg before he builds J5. Indian stereotype arrives in the past and corners Guttenberg, who begs for his life and confesses it was Nancy Regan's plan to build the robots. Ahbib (Indian stereotype) leaves Guttenberg alive, but only after telling him what his future will be like - Guttenberg of course commits suicide realizing his life is over. Ahbib then tracks down the Regans to a community outreach meeting (ku klux something or other) and tries to persuade Nancy to stop the program. She laughs and says "killer robots are only way to deal with drug users." Ahbib attacks but Ronald jumps in and starts kickin' arse with some martial arts moves. The final blow is struck when part of Ronalds face comes off and you see he is really a robot!!! Movie ends with a giant Too be continued which is kinda lame.Cameos include Eric Roberts, Linda Hamiliton and The Gratefull Dead. Read more Less
