    Supriingly a good album. I always saw filter as some corporate rock, nine inch nails spin off. But they show alot of potential in this album, its got a raw edgy sound.

    Ride the Bus

    A powerful debut album from Filter. I bought this album after buying Title Of Record, and I can see the similarities and differences. The lyrics are a lot darker, no songs about relationships or taking pictures here, recurring themes throughout the ...album include suicide, addiction, and anti-religion in "Dose". Unlike Title of Record, the songs are all fairly one-dimensional. All the songs are sludgey industrial metal, with the exceptions of Stuck In Here and So Cool. Hey Man Nice Shot is definitely the standout song, but it's fairly consistent all the way through. Read more Less

    Hard and emotional..

    I brought this album before Title of Record and I think Short Bus is another great album by them. I can't tell which one is better but as I can say Short Bus is good to listen to when you feel angry and depress it also has pretty good song writing t...oo. This album in a way reminds me of Nine Inch Nails. This album is worth buying it doesn't sound as mainstream as the new one, not that the new album sucks or anything. :) Read more Less

    This is a fun album to listen to. This album is to Filter what Bleach was to Nirvana in that a lot of the songs sound the same but it grows on you. It is heavier and less commercial than their new album. Dose, White Like That, Take Another and It's ...Over are the best songs on the bus. Read more Less

    You have to buy this cd!

    This cd is great. It is a great example of good music. Filter is great. Everything done by them is great, but this cd and their new one. Don't forget to check out their songs on the "Spawn" and "X-files" soundtracks.
