Man where do I start with this album. This album "The Shocker" is Silkk's best album ever made. I think that Silkk will never be able to top this album. Getting to the point Silkk's flows on this album are off the chains! Silkk does...n't studder when he raps on this CD like he does on other CD's that he's made. The beats are cool 2. The best tracks are "I represent", "If my 9 could talk", "Ain't nothin"(but hoes), "the shocker", and "Freeloaders" just to name a few. So if you are a No Limit fan or if ur not u gottta pick this up. This album is hard to find in stores so if u find it somewhere u better pick it up cause this album is rare. If you can't find it then order it off Yahoo!Shopping. Read more Less

Silkk Will Never Top This CD

Like Master P, Silkk was better when he first came out. An album isn't bad cause its old school, and as far as I'm concerned, this album is as close to a classic as Silkk will ever make. I can't stand the sound of No Limit now, but everything made fr...om 1994 to 1999 was tight in one way or another. Read more Less

Biography

Silkk the Shocker

Next to Master P (and maybe C-Murder), Silkk the Shocker (b. Zyshonn Miller) was the pre-eminent rapper on No Limit Records, the underground hip-hop label that became a sensation in the late '90s. Since he is the brother of Master P, the founder of the label, you'd expect nothing less, actually. As a member of Tru, as a guest rapper, and as a solo artist, Silkk the Shoc... Read more
