    This is a favorite. Definately a 'chick-flick' but, in a unique sense. Title character talks directly to audience, involving you, the viewer, totally in the story. We see Shirley's failures from mid-childhood to marrage, and then, in self-realizatio...n, tackles her inner demons, and sets off to recreate the woman inside her, succeeding in becoming her true self. A 'feel-good' movie for any woman who thinks she's all washed up and ready for the waste pail. You go girl! Read more Less
