Pros: Cheap and appears well made.

Cons: Slow and Printouts are not sharp.

This is a good fax machine for the price. It also has a small "foot print" and is therefore nice for the home user. I was disappointed in that it uses a film coated roll for its ink supply and this does not have the quality of what the cheapest ink jet printer gives. However it does use regular paper instead of thermo paper. I was also disappointed in that you can only set the ringer for two to four rings. Since I use a fax only for faxing, I would have prefered no rings at all. This fax comes with a starter film roll that is good for only a few faxes. When I opened the box, I found the free starter roll was missing. When I mentioned this to the store manager (Staples), he gave me a starter roll out of another box. A regular roll for 1000 pages will cost $23 so I appreciated this added customer service.
