The MD-MS722's lightweight and compact body is just about the size of an MD case, which means you can carry it with you anywhere with comfort and ease. Plus its front-loading disc mechanism lets you smoothly load and eject MDs with a single touch, without the hassle of opening and closing a cover. The MD-MS722 has a large jog dial that makes it convenient and easy to input the titles of each track on an MD. The jog dial greatly simplifies the music search function as well. The high-fidelity headphones have a convenient backlit LCD remote control that displays information such as disc/track name, battery status and play mode. Operating the MD player is easy even in dark locations. Triple Shuttle Buttons are also provided for convenient control of MD functions such as playback, off and volume level.

    The MDMS722 is one of the best Mini Disc that I ever used. Its simple to operate. A little thick, but the sound and bass quality out do the mzr900 line from sony. I use to have the mdms702 and that old player out did the 700 line from sony. So to all... that want to get an Mini Disc player/recorder the MDMS722 will be one of the best Sharp Portable product line. In fact its better than some of the newer modles thats out now.     I bought this player becoz of several reasons. The functionality and the price just didn't keep me for choosing but also the brand name and my history with sharp electronics. I use this player to record my MD's and tolisten the MD's in the car, the s...ound is so clear that it feels like my speakers have more power and amplification ..which in reality it doesn't.
