Great TV for the price
Pros: Picture Quality
Cons: Access to controls
I have had this TV for 4 months now. We love it. Great Picture, not one single problem. I was hoping to find a 52" set in my price range (under $1200) but was thinking I would have to drop down to 46". Then I found this unit at $1000 on line. It has been just what I wanted. The only draw back is that the controls are on the top. We mounted this on the wall over an entertainment center and it is difficult to reach the controls. We use the remote almost all the time, but if we misplace it, we are out of luck if we want to turn the set off. very small issue. I would reccomend this set for those looking for the most bang for your buck in this price range.

Do not buy this SHARP TV (or other Sharp TVs) for the following reason:
The quality of the parts used and/or craftsmanship of the TV is not good. After a year or so every time I turn on the TV the screen stays black. I have to cut the TV on/off many times for it to finally return a picture. Sometimes I have to totally unplug it before a picture is returned. If you research this issue on google it seems to happen a lot. I contacted customer service who informed me since my one year warranty is up they can do nothing for me even though it seems to be a widespread manufacturing issue.Was this review helpful?
