Cons: j. lo being too overacting i guess
i just love this movie. The movie that hopeless romantics will not usually go to because the two lead actors did not get together in the end.I love the scoring especially when they danced "the way you look tonight" and how richard gere looked when he emerge fron the escalator. how touching! I must say Jennifer Lopez really did a great job except from some scenes where I find her acting too overacting i guess...If your looking for something that will make you smile. I guess this one because it does to me... ...

Pros: There is nothing in the film that could be improved. I hope millions of little girls and boys watched it and fell in love with dance.
Cons: There are no cons; any age could benefit -- no language, gentlemen performing outside their areas of expertise and flying!
I did not see the movie in the theater because I misjudged the storyline. How sad for me. I watch Mr. Gere's work invariably. This film has come to Dish and I watched it tonight and cried. I am familiar with almost every actor's work who played in it but I saw new talent.
I am 59, disabled from an auto accident so my outings are limited.
Perhaps the people who gave me such pleasure by allowing me to be caught up so completely in the beauty of dance and the beautiful story line will somehow know I thank them from the depths of my heart. God bless and keep you all performing for many many years to come. Each of you make music wherever you go and in any venue. God bless you all.
Sincerely,
Joan Linebarger ...
