Indie pop singer/songwriter Shalini Chatterjee began her musical career during the late '80s playing bass in the Madison, WI-based Kissyfish. After relocating to San Francisco and learning guitar, in 1993 she formed Vinyl Devotion, releasing a series of acclaimed records through Parasol. A move to North Carolina precipitated the formation of a new Vinyl Devotion lineup, which released 1998's Floor Model; however, the group dissolved later that same year and Chatterjee formed a new band with...
