But in reality, his sexual appetite is out of control--from internet porn sites to interludes with total strangers. He eventually enters therapy for his acknowledged addiction and the couple set out to try and salvage their marriage. Best on a true story, this production originally aired on television.

    From "insanity" to "sanity"

    Pros: An excellent film for those with this addiction.

    Cons: Somewhat ambigious as to actual treatment.

    I viewed this film on late night TV. Unfortunately, it was not advertised, perhaps due to the subject matter and content. I found the film to be an accurate portrayal of one caught up in the vortex of lust and sexual addition, beginning with intern...et pornography. It also portrayed the damage being done to a marriage and the anguish of the spouse as the lies and obsession of the addiction grew. As with other addicts, there was a "bottom line" and as this was reached by the principle and the marriage, the film portayed an approach to a restoration of the relationship of the marriage and family. There was a positive ending but there was no showing of a total resolution. That is left up to the viewer. I intend to purchase this when available on VHS or DVD as it is worthwhile showing to those caught up in this addiction. Read more Less
