NUMBER ONE FOR EVER
BACK IN THE 80'S WHEN THIS ALBUM WAS MADE,YES RECORDS FOR THOSE WHO ARE YOUNER THEN US OLD FOLKS. THIS ALBUM MADE AWAY FOR FEMAALE COUNTRY STARS TO GO POP OR ROCK. LIKEDOLLY PARTON,REBA BARBRA MANDRELL ETC, THIS ALBUM WILL STAND OUT FOR EVER.TILL THE END OF TIME. IT IS A A MIX OF COUNTRY,BLUES,SOFT POP,ROCK,AND A LITTLE BIT OF JAZZ.

SEVEN YEAR ACHE was not only Rosanne Cash's breakthrough, but it is one of the most important releases in the history of country music. This incredible album is the blueprint for contemporary country music and is ten times better than almost all mainstream country releases in the 1990s. With an extraordinary selection of songs, terrific performances and exceptional singing, SEVEN YEAR ACHE is an essential for any fan of 1980s/1990s country music. The only unfortunate thing about SEVEN YEAR ACHE is that Sony Music has pulled this milestone from print. Its well worth finding.

Credit Rosanne with paving the way for country
and rock crossover acts (like Lynn Anderson,
Linda Ronstadt and Tammy Wynette) in the past
to make it into the next millenium. Where
would Shania Twain or Faith Hill be if "Seven
Year Ache" was a bust? (Cash even looks like
Linda on the cover!) Rosanne's guitar turns
way up on "Rainin'" and "My Baby Thinks He's A
