Venezuelan Latin pop duet Servando y Florentino was formed by brothers Primera, who were previously participating in a five-piece group called Salserin, recording a self-titled album, Salserin Con Mucho Swing, and a live record made in Caracas. Their major influence was their father, Alí Primera, who was a local singer/songwriter.
