, August 10, 2000Reviewer: closer2thestars - See all closer2thestars's reviewsJust imagine a band that can put powerful music and deep lyrics together!!! That's just what they did. U.K. "punk/grunge" sound with a twist of lemon. Smash is just one of those great bands that only come around so often.

Pros: Hard driving adrenaline rock
Cons: None
Powerful lyrics to accompany hard driving drums and electric guitar occasionally intermingled with an acoustic intro to elevate the fury when they go electric. Themes of drugs, love, lost friends, and suicide. They also battle misogyny with Oh Ovary.
Not to be confused with the sissy soft pop/punk that is out now these guys are a 90's throwback to the Sex Pistols era.
