First of all, I have to thank everyone including God for giving me the opportunity to be a part of this and other movies.

I had a lot of fun with everyone on the set, but more importantly I got the chance to work with Edward James Olmos, Jennifer Lopez and John Seda. My scenes were with "Chris"( John Seda) being the rockstar that I am, in the hotel room and even driving someone's old classic car(3 in the tree). I've met Edward before on several occasions and he's such an inspiration to me; I wish him great success in all his endeavors. John, if you ever want to go party, you know how to find me. Pros: An emotional, very day-to-day life, something we all can relate to, alot of wonderful Mexican and English songs, wonderful performance by everyone.

Cons: There isn't any, if you ask me.

Hey guys,
I just got off watching ‘Selena’ on HBO; it was a very good film. I can honestly say that I like it so much and I will watch it many times over again. I remember when my dad brought the DVD home for us, we were little then and I think it was the first movie I saw on DVD video. Now, after nearly 8 years later seeing it again, all the memories just start coming back, I can recall most of the film, also now that I’m better with my English I can understand the language much better, which makes it even more enjoyable.

The story is about the life of a Mexican American singer, Selena; who gained enormous popularity among both English and Spanish fans during the mid 90s, a story about how Selena grew up, what troubles and kinds of happiness she had. I personally love this movie because of its message: be who you are, dare to dream and if you really try hard, one day you’ll make it. I feel so good, so motivated and appreciative of what I have each time finishing ‘Selena’. This is the first time I am writing a review, I just think that this is a magnificent film that everyone can enjoy. I hope my opinions helped, this movie is really worth having around. Brilliant movie.
