Synopsis: Seabiscuit (2003)

This is the true story of a former bicycle repairman, Charles Howard (Bridges), who made his fortune introducing the automobile to the American West, and who owned a small, knobbly-kneed horse called Seabiscuit. Howard teamed up with a half-blind ex-boxing prize fighter, Red Pollard (Maguire), who became the horse's jockey and a former "mustang breaker" Wild West...
This is the true story of a former bicycle repairman, Charles Howard (Bridges), who made his fortune introducing the automobile to the American West, and who owned a small, knobbly-kneed horse called Seabiscuit. Howard teamed up with a half-blind ex-boxing prize fighter, Red Pollard (Maguire), who became the horse's jockey and a former "mustang breaker" Wild West performer called "The Lone Plainsman", Tom Smith (Cooper), who became the horse's trainer. As the United States struggled through the Great Depression, people around the country followed with rapt interest of the Seabiscuit story, leading to his win of the Horse of the Year honors in 1938.

    This is a true story of a not-so-famous race horse, 'Seabiscuit', and the 3 men who loved this horse enough to bring out the very best of him, and found the best in each other too.The movie takes us viewers on an exciting ride through a forgo...tten moment in history that will stir your emotions deeply. You'll laugh, cry, and cheer for this phenominal little horse who loved to win!Absolutely the best performances by Tobey Maquire, Jeff Bridges and Chris Cooper to date!!     Cons: the first half of the movie
