    Pros: This is great

    Cons: None

Scream Bloody Gore is just wonderful. I love to bang and thrash my head while listening to it. Chuck Schuldiner's vocals are just sick. My favorite songs are Infernal Death, and Zombie Ritual. Buy this now if you don't got it.

    Timeless Masterpiece

I remember listing to this album in High School, and just reciently got reaquainted with it. It still has as much energy now as it did then.

Pro Reviews: Scream Bloody Gore

  • All Music Guide

A seminal album that helped establish the death metal subgenre, Scream Bloody Gore may be slightly musically amateurish next to Death's subsequent albums, but it trades polish for savage, gut-wrenching, force and speed. Building on the blueprint of Slayer's Reign In Blood, the lyrics match the disturbing, stomach-churning qualities of the music, and Chuck Schuldiner's vocals do their best to live up to the album's title. A necessary item for anyone interested in the genesis of death metal.
