When i drove to the theatre to see this movie...i thought it was gonna be better than the first one...but...NO! This movie was WAY too gory. It wa slike 5 times as gory as SCREAM and SCREAM 3 put together. I bought it anyway though. It's really cool on DVD. Buy it!

This movie was not as good as the first and last but it is still worth seeing and buying. It was a surprise who the killer was like all the other ones. Neve kicks ass in ALL of these movies. This is the BEST horror series EVER i'm definitaly going to let my kids see it when i get old enough. BUY IT!

It was good but the fist one and the last one are better, but still was good! I think Sarah M Geller shuod be in it alot more. I love when Neve gose like mad in the end trying to kill them.

This is the best sequel i ever see in a gender like sequels in horror movies really sucks (remember i still know...worst of all history in horror movies), i think the opening scene is great and the deaths oh my god!! there are really great specially the death of Cici Cooper (Sarah Michelle Gellar) best of all series and i like the Randy character he souldn´t killed him...great movie!!!!

This movie perfectly spoofs movie trilogies. They purposely made the movie quality lag in some parts to prove that sequels are never as good as the original.
The effects are very interesting like the begining with the movie theater scene and the very end.
The interaction between the characters was well written. The love-hate relationship between dewey and gale makes romance loves want to keep watching to see if they end up together or not.
For the horrror fans, the movie tries to keep you guessing to figure out who the killer is and so the audience members can see if they can figure out who's going to live and who's going to die.
There is some humor like when randy is talking about Dewey's injury and when Dewey and Gale are fighting. There is also some small laughs in some scenes but the laughs are used to lall the audience into a false sense of good feeling so that when the movie gets to a scary part again, the audience members will be more scared.Was this review helpful? Okay.... so I am not a fan of sequels, but horror movie sequels are different. I didn't watch this movie with intentions of it being like the original. Gladly it's not. It's not "original" in any way, but there's something about that--more suspense, less clues--that give it a darker aura.

Quite simply, not as good as the first one. Scream was a near classic, so the sequel had a great deal to live up to. Having said that, there are some funny and thrilling moments that make it a Scream movie. The usual canny one liners, blood and gore and the pretty much random killer - You wonder if they just picked the person out of a hat. See Scream first or you will be confused. Oh, when Sarah Michelle Gellar (Cici Cooper) gets thrown off the balcony a head just pops up from nowhere - strange.

Scream 2 brings the twists and turns that Scream didn't. This movie makes it very hard to tell who the killer and is allways throughing you away from who the killer is. The one thing I hated the most was Stab. Was Stab not based on the Woodburough Murders? If it was it managed to miss out the deaths of both Steven Orth (Caseys boyfriend in Scream) and Maureen Prescot the original victim. Apart from the murderer twists Scream 2 was rubbish! And as Randy saidhimself "Sequels Suck".

This move was adequate as a sequal, but there were several parts that upset me. First off, it seems to me the old vets of murders from woodsboreo, make the same mistakes in this movie as they did in the last one. And also, I think it would be cool to see Neve get a little more defensive, I mean, I'm sure all these full-grown and healthy college kids can defend themselves to some extent. I think expectations were too high for this movie, Scream 1 broke boundries and brought a whole new concept of fear to the industry, whereas this movie is still not as predictable as Urban Legend or I Know What You Did Last Summer, it does follow a formula that can be easily spotted. But its still full of delightful suprises at the end escpecially.

It wasn't as good as Scream, but it was a good film. The body count is higher and far more goryer than #1. The only thing I didn't like about this movie was its stupid ending, where Billy's mother, is a killer, what's that? And her partner came by the internet, that's pitiful. But other than that there's really nothing bad about this movie.

I loved the first Scream, and I was wondering how the writers would make a sequal that was both original and entertaining. I felt that they accomplished that very well. I only give 5 starts to outstanding movies that leave a lasting impression in my mind, so I gave this film a 4.

I would consider 3 1/2 stars, but not 4. This movie isn't the worst thing I've seen, but it certainly doesn't pack the wallop that the first one does. Here's to hoping that Scream 3 can regain the magic of the first movie!

If i could give this movie any lower than a 1 i would, it is one of the WORST sequels i have EVER seen!, besides I still know...this movie was so badly acted and badly written that i couldn't help but boo out loud at each scene and was happy to finally see the credits roll onto the screen, craven is capable of much better than this, as we have all seen with The Hills Have Eyes and Nightmare on Elm Street
