This moive really rocked and I love the part when Casey Becker died it was really scary and how she hanging from the tree it freaked me out all the way to the end of the moive.

Cons: he died i didn't like that he wasn't in the 2nd. that sucked
i thought this movie was the greatest in the world because of mathew lillard except when he died. that was sad "tear" which made me mad because he wasn't in the 2nd one "uhhhhh"

this is the movie that got me into horror......usally I can find at least 20 or so things wrong with every movie but i couldn't find anything wrong with this. there were a few funny parts. it is a great movie

Love and respect for the whole horror genre shows in this satire of a slasher tale that features a wonderful ensemble cast, some gory murders, and a few very scary (if not predictable on purpose) bits, as well as biting references to almost all of the best old horror films ever made. It's a SCREAM, baby! Shame everybody rode the teen slasher bandwagon after this one: the talents of Craven and Williamson just can't be equalled.

I hate this new teen horror genre of films they suck and they are not scary they all consist of a bunch of stupid peolpe who don't know how to react in stressful situations the lead character is always some chic from some cheezy show that never made it big so they had to try movies which they did even worse in and a crazy killer that looks like a trick-or-treater who thinks of the dumbest ways to kill people. And there is no gore and no sex in them either.

I thought the end was stupid. This movie is something that could really happen which is why i thought it was scary. I was actually scared to go outside by myself at night after i first watched it. But as all horror movies go... they get less scary with age.

Hello. You people may know me....I write many reviews in Yahoo. I am here to talk about "Scream". What can I say? Perfect. Funny, scary, fun, critical....it is a typical good movie to watch and relax. DOn't expect to be afraid. Expect to be scared. But that's all. It is not a movie to be afraid. I don't expect to reach your agreement, people, but I have to say: I do love this movie!

I didn't jump, didn't scream, didn't hide under the protection of my friends, didn't have nightmares when I saw this movie in theaters. Instead I found myself falling in love with the movie. With the crazy unoriginality of it, the fact that Wes Craven was a part of it, the fact that it was basically a "how to" in surviving horror movies.
I know the movie pretty well. Know the mistakes, the trivia, the this and the that. It's not scary. I don't know if it was intended to be scary, and maybe I've been descentized to scary movies, but this movie was more humorous than scary--though I have to saw when Tatum bought it--PUKE!! lolWas this review helpful? I love this movie, as soon as it came out I got it and watched it. I still love it even if it's a couple years old. I'm a true fan of all the Screams although one was the best.
