Scott Allen's musical career began in earnest in late 1998 when he joined Michigan's Red Shirt Brigade at the age of 14. As the band's keyboard player, Allen infused a youthful energy into the band's live shows. His frantic keyboard style quickly found a place in the band's sound, and his boundless energy garnered rave reviews at the band's concerts.
