School for Scoundrels with Terry Thomas

One of the funniest British comedies ever made - a true classic. Based on the Stephen Potter "-ship" book series (Gamesmanship, One-upmanship, Lifemanship. etc.), School for Scoundrels is the uproariously funny story of a meek loser who learns to tr...ansform his life and get his way AND the girl. He does this by following the teachings of Stephen Potter (played by Alistair Sim), whose maxim is that's OK to do anything to succeed in the Game of Life as long as you don't actually cheat. The movie includes a wonderfully funny scene whereby the protagonist gets revenge on two used car salesmen, and an equally delightful lesson on how to win at tennis without being as good as your opponent. To say more would be giving it away. If you like silly British humor in the style of The Lavender Hill Mob, Ladykillers, and the The Wrong Arm of the Law, then you will LOVE School for Scoundrels!
