Polish death metal band initially formed as Tormentor in 1994 by guitarist Jacek Hiro, Sceptic underwent countless personnel shake-ups before settling on a lineup consisting of vocalist Marcin Urbas, guitarist Czesiek Semla, bassist Pawel Kolasa, and drummer Kuba Kogut.
