    Pros: the story is well written

    Cons: could have used a little more gore

    Enjoyable to watch and feel for.I feel that this film is extremely excellent. One who watches the film needs to be aware of the fact that it is gruesome. One needs to be fond of these kinds of films in order to enjoy it or he will feel that it is a... brutal movie that needs to be thrown away.Not a lot of gore, yet the suspense is amazing. The actors were convincing, especially Leigh Whannell (Adam), Cary Elwes (Dr. Lawrence Gordon), Makenzie Vega (Diana Gordon), and Monica Potter (Alison Gordon).It has been a while since I've seen a film this good; I can't wait till next year for Saw 2.     I love the saw movies!! The jigsaw guy is obviously very twisted but what a interesting concept, testing the strengths of someones charcter. The Movie is absoulty great, you will never see the end coming!!

    Pros: TWISTED PLOT, HAD U THINKING ON THE EDGE OF YOUR SEAT, GORY

    Cons: NOT LONG ENOUGH

    LEFT U WANTING MORE AT THE END! SICK AND TWISTED OUT OF THIS WORLD TORTURE! IT WAS SO GOOD I CANT WATCH IT AGAIN, NOT FOR ALONG TIME

    Pros: Story continues to evolve throughout the film

    Cons: If you don't like gore and blood...don't watch it!!!

    I loved the story developement and the plot! There are many subplots within the movie which keep your attention while the main story continues to evolve around you. And the ending is to DIE for! You will never guess! And for me to not guess the catch... within the first 10 minutes is a really cool thing! I enjoyed the heck out of this movie and will definitely be watching SawII and looking for number III!!! Read more Less

    This movie was the best horror flick of the year. The cast was amazing. It was creepy and the surprise ending was so unexpected!! A must-see for all horror fans!

    Cons: Too Few Death Scenes

    Saw is an evil and twisted movie with a simple, yet disturbing question... Would you spill blood just to escape? Two guys awaken to find a dead body between them, with no idea how they got there, the only clues are given to them through a cassette ta...pe with Jigsaw's voice on it. Their choices to escape? either kill the other person, or saw off your foot to escape. The suspense builds up throughout the movie, and the climax is something completely unexpected. Not since the Sixth Sense was I so surprised about the ending. All I have to say is Jigsaw is an evil genious. Read more Less

    Pros: Very Scary

    Cons: Was filmed very poorly

    I thought the movie saw over all was an excellent movie i was sitting on the edge of my seat the whole movie... but i thought the filming could have been alittle bit better. But i seriously cannot wait until i see the second movie....
