This cd pales in comparison to the last one, "Southtown". "Satellite" does have a few excellent songs (Alive, Messenjah, Portrait) , but there are a few that have me reaching for the skip button. "Ghetto" is one of the worst songs I have ever heard.... "Youth of the Nation" could have been a great song, but it's too mainstream and glossy to be effective. If you can find this cd on sale, its worth the price. But if you were expecting a follow up to "Southtown", its a disappointment. Read more Less

What can I say P.O.D. went and made the album I knew they could make when I heard Fundamental Elements of Southtown. They have made one of the most significant and positive albums of the past 3 years and possibly the single best album to ever to come... out of the Rap-Rock genra. As far as the songs I honestly can say their is not a single track on this CD that is a labor to listen to every one is a gem with Alive, Youth of the Nation, and Ghetto all seemingly destined to become classics in our collective music history. So kudos Sonny, Marcos, Wuv, and Traa you guys made a record that is going to stay in my CD player till your next album drops. Peace I'm Out! Warriors Forever! Read more Less

I love P.O.D. although i am not christian as i stated before in another review. i am a hugh fan and agree with the message. Its positive music that I can agree on and that i can relate to even through I am muslim. Although I feel they are to religiou...s ( not trying to offend anyone)the concept and the message is awesome I love them. P.O.D. rules. I highly recommend P.O.D.; they are a very talented group! I personally am a HUGE fan of theirs, and I support them with all my heart. This music has a good hard beat to it, for those ppl out there who love beat. And you should really listen to their... lyrics. They've got some good points, and some positive aspects on things. P.O.D. are a very promising band, although I'm not really wild about them. Satellite, Boom, Set It Off, and Alive are the only good songs. The rest are suck. 3 stars.
