Born in Hawaii, Sara Lov would eventually find musical success as one half of the Los Angeles formed duo Devics (alongside Dustin O'Halloran) which would sign to a UK label Cocteau Twins' Simon Raymonde's Bella Union and move to Italy. Eventually, Lov decided on a solo jaunt, away from her Devics work, and would work with producer Zac Rae (of Gnarls Barkley fame) on a debut full length of her own. The album, Seasoned Eyes Were Beaming, was released in 2008. In order to complete the work on her album, Lov rerelocated back to the Los Angeles area, and prior to releasing the album, toured with Sea Wolf, and performed at a number of L.A. venues, including a show with Keren Ann.
