Born in Hawaii, Sara Lov would eventually find musical success as one half of the Los Angeles formed duo Devics (alongside Dustin O'Halloran) which would sign to a UK label Cocteau Twins' Simon Raymonde's Bella Union and move to Italy. Eventually, Lov decided on a solo jaunt, away from her Devics work, and would work with producer Zac Rae (of Gnarls Barkley fame) on a debut full length of her own.
