Equipped with a combined integrated analog (NTSC) and digital (ATSC) tuner to receive DTV off-air (terrestrial) signals and Clear QAM unscrambled digital cable channels.

The 16:9 ratio Wide-Screen gives the viewer a full picture of movies and broadcasts, rather than a normally cropped picture in the 4:3 ratio. The 16 by 9 format means that you can watch movies the way you would watch them in the theater while the true flat screen reduces reflections from room lights and windows for outstanding clarity and quality images from corner to corner.

  • Channel Recall can be used to quickly change between programs or ballgames.

    Great LCD TV value

    Pros: great picture, lots of hookups, nice styling.

    Cons: on screen menu fairly basic

    This LCD TV from Sanyo is excellent. I did a lot of research prior to purchase and Consumer Report gives Sanyo a positive rating. Pricing on this 42" was considerably lower than other name brand and the quality is up there with the best. I guess... time will tell if this unit stands up to the Sony's of this world but so far its doing great. Lots of inputs for other equipment and the HD picture is awesome. Watching Sports on this HD set has become the ultimate in viewing entertainment. Might not want to tell the ladies about that! Read more Less
