When I saw this in Sam's Wholeclub on Saturday, I was so excited. This was one of the best comedy series ever. Each time I watch an episode, I laugh.

I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR OLD SANFORD AND SON TAPES FOR YEARS. ON A WHIM, I JUST LOOKED IN BEST BUY AND FOUND THE LAST COPY. IT WAS ONLY $16, BUT WORTH MORE. I LOVE IT! I'VE BEEN WATCHING IT ALL WEEK AND LAUGHING MY TAIL OFF. I HOPE THEY PRODUCE ANOTHER SEASON ON THIS. IT WAS FUNNY BACK WHEN I WAS A KID AND ITS STILL FUNNY NOW. AND A LOT FUNNIER THAN SOME OF THE CRAP ON TV NOW, LIKE AMERICAN IDOL.

I had been frantically looking all over ebay and in local stores trying to find sanford and son episodes on dvd. To my surprise I opened up a best buy ad and saw it being advertised as a complete season 1 dvd. I went straight out and purchased it and was not disappointed in the least. I have had nothing else in the dvd player for almost a month now watching it over and over. This is definitely a must buy for those who appreciate good comedy!!!!

I was so glad to see this great show finally come to DVD. Redd Foxx doesn't didn't get all of his due credit for being a great comedian.

Lamont - ya big dummy!!! You got this dvd and we don't even have dvd for 25 years.....Even aunt Esther has better since than that. You betta watch it sucka!!!!!

This is I think the best comedy series to hit the TV network. Redd Foxx performance as Fred G. Sanford. is absoultely fabulous. This 1972-1977 comedy is still captavating the american viewers. I wake up every morning at 6am to watch Fred. This collection is something to have. I hope to buy the whole collection on DVD
