Durable, that's for sure...
Pros: Long Lasting, Good Memory, Radio, Durable, Good Price
Cons: Battery Operated as Opposed to Recharge, Sometimes doesn't take my batteries
This was a Christmas gift for me last year and since then I've dropped it at least 10 times, left it in the washing machine 5 times, kicked it down the stairs 2 times and had it punted around 15 yards. It is durable no doubt about that.
The Radio reception is very clear (while in reasonable areas, not underground) and sound quality for uploaded songs is great. The microphone is also pretty handy for recording songs that you can't download or for recording speeches that are important.
I have another MP3 and it in no way compares to my Sansa. I use my Sansa everyday on the bus to and from school so that's around 2 hours every weekday. Batteries ussually last around 2 weeks for me, which is very good considering how cheap my batteries are.Was this review helpful? Yes - Nolow tech
Pros: simple to use, cheap
Cons: thick, odd, shape, not as good sound quality as i like, monochrome screen
The saving grace of this player is that its cheap. Its an ugly little round thing and thick, so the weird shape didnt exactly make it portable, and the screen was pretty fragile. The 1 gig memory was particularly frusturating. Its only features were a voice recorder and FM radio that got bad reception. If you're low tech then this is the right mp3 for you, with no frills. But if you're into all the high tech gadgets and stuff like me, get a sansa e 250.

Pros: easy to use, tactile, good sound, equalizer, folders, FM
Cons: internal construction quality, earbuds
Couldn't resist the good deal I got at Office Depot (but never received rebate!) I found the shape odd but cool at first, and after using it for a while realized I could use it without looking at it, in a pocket or on a bike. The sound was great, esp. with the equalizer on. Put hundreds of songs in it, mostly at 128kbps and some audio books as well. I like the screen which glows blue and scrolls text information. Recorder, FM and battery life are great. After a few months of use without harsh treatment the volume rocker wont work and volume stays down.
the switch inside is poorly designed.
It was still a great little mp3 player.

Pros: size, price
Cons: earphones dont fit (my ears at least..), hardware glitch, playlist isnt easily set up
Well, i got my first one for christmas 2006 and a 3 days after that it froze on the 'Sansa" screen and the only way i could get it to turn off was by disconnecting the battery. NOW, 5 months later its doing the SAME thing... SO, i called their techinical support line and theyre are sending me yet another m240. I read on another website blog that they had a 'glitch' in the hardware of the "december batch." and they have no intentions of doing a recall. My brother has the same one as me but he got his about 8months before i did and he hasnt had any problems with his. so now i'm going through the annoying sendback steps :-S and having to RELOAD my music back on it...all i have to say is that it better not do it again!!
