    Sweet Little MP3 Player

By stevie p  Oct 2, 2006 | 9 out of 10 found this SanDisk Sansa c150 review helpful

Pros: Compact, lightweight, uses easily replaceable AAA batteries.

Cons: None that I can think of.

A super-sweet little MP3 player. 2 GB size was able to hold a little less than 300 songs, however,at least 2 dozen of those songs were well over 4 minutes. It uses easily replaceable AAA batteries,so there is no need to wait to charge up your unit and... it plays roughly 10-12 hours on 1 AAA battery. The unit is small and lightweight and easily fits in your pocket,or use the included neck laynard. Easy navigation cusor even with large hands. Well worth it for the money...you will not be disappointed. Read more Less

    Great player!! Bad battery life

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Dec 20, 2006 | 3 out of 3 found this SanDisk Sansa c150 review helpful

Pros: sound quality, great screen, feals good in your hand

Cons: BATTERY LIFE, radio, voice recorder

This is a good little mp3 player that has has enough features. Sound quality is insane better than the ipod. The screen has good color and picture, but its small. But on the other hand its small size helps it slip into your pocket almost unoticed. Th...e battery life is the biggest down side to this player. I had it for a month and had gone through 4 batteries. Also the radio is good but it does'nt have good range. The voice recorder is not good at all! I tried it out and every time i talked it sound all muffled and stuff. but i don't use those two things at all. Over all i thought this was a great mp3 player and would recomend it to anyone Read more Less

    SUPPORT friendly

    Pros: perfect for me!

    Cons: battery life

I am not very techno savy, so....the reason this product is so cool is that after I accidentally dumbed 1100 files, including emails, that the support line patiently walked me through each step and made sure I had everything right and exactly how I w...anted it. I was so impressed. I love it! Read more Less

Pros: very nice price, navigation buttons and overall design okay

Cons: music sorting completely chaotic and annoying

it is very annoying when mp3 players don't play music the way you sort them in your own folders, but sort them by the information from tags. you end up having "the Beatles", "The Beatles", "the beatles" and "THE... BEATLES" as four different artists. HOWEVER, this would only be a matter of personal preference if this player wasn't really messy while sorting music, no matter how neatly you organize your tags... For some reason, this player reads the tags so badly that it ends up mixing parts of names of different albums and artists. It looks really ugly. Also, it happens quite frequently that it lists one same artist as 5 separate ones, sometimes adding a few letters from another tag to one of those 5. It is the same with albums - one album can get broken down into a few separate albums even though having the same title. I have no idea why this happens. Also, music that has previously been sorted just fine, can get messed up once you load something new. The user's manual says that you should put your music into the "audible" folder. No matter what you do, DON'T DO THIS! for some reason, if you put your music into this folder, the player will only play the songs in the alphabetic order, and artists and albums won't be sorted. As far as the sound goes, it's not excellent, but I think it's just okay for this price. anyway...don't buy it!! there must be other decent mp3 players for a decent price. Read more Less

    Dont reorganize my files!

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Nov 22, 2006 | 1 out of 2 found this SanDisk Sansa c150 review helpful

    Pros: Cost, lightweight, radio,

Cons: Mixes up song order, no user software, cant delete existing files

I have used another MP3 player called IAudio U2. I bought that for my gf because it supposedly had great sound quality and it did. Anyways im gonna do a comparison to show explain why this MP3 player has problems. The most serious problem is that it ...reorganizes the track order and you cant do a damm thing about it. If you like to play song x first then song y and then song z you are basically out of luck cause this thing reorganizes the songs in an album as it sees fit. Trust me i have tried everything including renaming the ID3 tags to simply read 1,2,3 and still it reorgnizes them in some unforseen way. Its very annoying The second problem is that you cannot create your own folders. With the U2 i could basically create a folder of music on my computer, and then set what songs to play first second third, it was simple. This cannot be done on this MP3 player and that really sucks. The only groups it has are Album and Artist. So making a mix folder is not possible. Try looking through 50 snoop dog songs to find the new one when you could have just put a folder for new snoop dog songs. The sound quality is ok but the U2 sound quality basically blows it out of the water. I dont know im probably gonna sell this thing and get the U2 for myself. Read more Less
