    Great, great player

By Ronald  Jan 25, 2007 | 3 out of 3 found this Samsung YP-T9JQB review helpful

Pros: Styling, battery life, sound, ease of use

Cons: Wish I had bought the 4G instead of 2G

After the iPod, Creative Zen, Creative Micro, Sandisk Sansa, etc., etc., I decided to get the Samsung. I was looking for a non-iTunes, flash with lots of battery life, small size and great sound. Got it all in the Samsung, which has great styling to ...boot. Battery life is incredible. Have not had to use the support so I didn't rate it with the highest mark. Also, it isn't compatible with AAC (naturally) but who cares. I can use RealPlayer for both the iPod and the Samsung. Go buy one! Read more Less

Pros: DNSe sound effect, custom background, plug and play, AC charging, multiple language selection, bluetooth, bookmarks.

Cons: Automatic charging with USB, color display is not impressive, unable to arrange the music in playlist, does not support BMP file, no line-in recording.

Nice slim design with good DNSe sound effect. Users are able to choose to listen to their music using either the DNSe sound effect or simply the equalizer, it will be best if users can choose to activate both DNSe and equalizer together. This device... has a custom background function that allows users to use their own background, but it can only support JPEG/JPG file and the color quality of the LCD it not very impressive; I believe that the color quality is less that 24 bit, but the dpi is more than enough to produce a smooth image. Since that it is a plug and play device, users can choose to transfer data using windows explorer instead of the software given. File can be transferred using either USB or Bluetooth, but there seems to be some problem when using the Bluetooth to transfer files. Optional AC adapters are available to purchase. Users can choose to charge the device using either the AC adapter or simply the power of the computer via USB. Device will automatically start charging when it is connected to the computer via USB; and this is what I really dislike. This MP3 player supports various kinds of languages including Japanese which may be useful for some people. A playlist is available. User can select and play some music that they like best instead of playing all the music files stored in the device. But this device does not allow user to arrange the music in the playlist, which is kind of troublesome to me. Read more Less

    Better Than I pod Period

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Jan 29, 2007 | 1 out of 1 found this Samsung YP-T9JQB review helpful

    Pros: Everything

Cons: Cant delte audio from player only computer

It comes down to this---if you like itunes then get an i pod, but remember you must transfer your files (songs) to i tunes then to your player and your only getting a player (yes i know it has some other features). Samsung has a radio, mpeg 4 vid, pi...ctures, voice recorder, and you can store text files. The Ipod is slick but the T9 is hands down better plus for 50 or more dollars less.....um this is a no brainer--check it out vs each palyer foryourself. Read more Less

    All I ever wanted

    By Eric  Oct 30, 2007

Pros: Blue tooth,FM recording at your own bit rate

    Cons: playlist

Okay, I been looking for a player and I found the one I love. It has a bluetooth feature that i can use bluetooth head phones, and not only that, I can use the blue tooth feature to connect to my phone in my pocket. So I can actually make phone calls... throught the player using my phone. It pops a keypad an I enter the number. Very cool feature. I love the wireless feature. I bought a plantronics blue tooth ear bud head set. It can connect to my player and has play, mute and next previous track functions so even if its in my pocket or lying 20 feet away I can control the tracks it playing. I love this player. Samsung thank you. IPOD killer in deed lol! Ipod not even in the same ball park. Read more Less

    What's a Ipod

    By Enrique  Jun 27, 2007

    Pros: It does video

    Cons: Can't think of any

I bought this mp3 and now I'm saying what's a ipod. It's worth your money and cheaper for the fact that is does video for a cheaper price than ipod. I love this thing and will never replace this thing EVER.
