Pros: easy to carry, easy to use
Cons: not alot of features
The charger stop working a few weeks after i bought it got another one and got the same results
Pros: Look, light, slender
Cons: Buttons, buttons, buttons
I am the type of person who always gets the free model cell phone. This time I got the phone I liked best.
I love the way it looks, the accessories also look good. It works and the directory structure of the commands is learnable.
However there is no way to change what the phone's buttons do. There are volume buttons on the side, which when touched just shout out at you what that volume setting sounds like, every time. Also, there is a button that is exclusively dedicated to internet access. I have T-Mobile, and it says 't-zones'. Sometimes I'll pull my phone out, and it is like on some internet thing, which I don't want.
Also, you have to pay to get your pictures and video off the phone, for internet and for some service. I don't want to do this, at all, so I just can't use my pictures. Why can't I just get a USB converter for my memory card, or for the plug?
Also, the speaker volume is a little low during some calls, even when I position it right exactly toward my inner ear. It is never loud. Speaker Phone is quiet.
Changing the phone's volume / mute settings is a chore. I have vibrating alarm and one sound alarm, I want another sound one, but I can't even see the difference between the two, anywhere. I don't know how it gets sound, because I have it turned off everywhere, as far as I know. But when I try to turn sound on, the alarm still vibrates.
Well, I still use it, because I like it. I do hope it gets improved though, if it did I could recommend it to others. I get a compliment from almost every other young person who ever sees it, they want to heft it etc, and I have to tell them the buttons are all fixed programming. Please ...
Pros: slim, speaker phone, big screen
Cons: easy to drop, doesn't allow you to set recieved mp3's as ringtones
I love this phone. Sadly, mine no longer works and i now have to use my chunky old phone. For some reason no matter where i am, i am unable to get service.
if anyone knows why or how to fix it please let me know.
Like someone else mentioned, I have also had s problem where my phone will keep ringing, not allowing me to answer until I took that battery out. I never took it to T-mobile because it was never that much of a problem.
My full review doesn't really agree with my title, but this phone is truly amazing. Everything about it is great.
Pros: it has a great speakerphone and it has a really sleek look to it
Cons: messaging tone,bluetooth mp3 ringtones
you cant select a downloaded ringtone for your messaging tone they give you like 10 little dumb baby ringtones and then when you get ringtones from another phone through bluetooth you cant use them as ringtones only alarm tones i was very dissapointed to find this out i was very deppressed other than that it is a great phone i like i how thin it is :) :#
Pros: compact
Cons: MP3 songs for ringtones, speaker, ringing...
I like this phone. For texting, it's ok, but I'd rather get a SK3...although I just finished reading the reviews and might look to something else.
The only real problem I have with this phone is the songs I download. I can't use them as ringtones. My sister and nephew have a Razr (TMobile too) and I Bluetoothed my songs to her, she can use them! UGH!! I can only use mine for the alarm...what's up with that?? If anyone know's how to "unlock" the songs I download....PUHLEASE let me know!
Then the speaker phone....why is the speaker in the back?? It would work better at the ear. I sometimes can't hear the ringing when someone calls...depending on the ring tone, I can't hear it.
I too have had my phone ring and ring and I couldn't answer it until I took the battery out...never thought to call TMobile, just something I've dealt with, maybe I should.
I've had this phone for about a year, I think, it's been pretty good to me...especially after the first day I got it, it was immersed in soda!!
Pros: Thin
Cons: Screen is to small, all features are locked and you can not create your own media, Camera is sub-standard
it isn't the best phone i have had. after 3 months i was forced to buy another phone cause i hated the features on it. I went to the Samsung Trace and it has everything that i expected out of this. I would not recommend it for those who like a lot of features on your phone,(Music, ring tones, games, ect) for this is not the phone! for those of you who are not technology savvy and just need a basic phone! this would do the job! it is very small, in a good way, but i would recommend the trace
Pros: Lightweight, thin, attention-getter, easy to use, good memory
Cons: ringer not loud at all, vibrating also not strong- lots of missed calls
I like the phone very much except for the fact thatI miss a ton of calls because I cannot hear the ringer even at full blast and the vibrating doesnt get your attention either. If these are improved on this phone, I would keep it for as long as possible.
Pros: you can talk on it
Cons: everything about it
This phone is a garbage. You cant hear on it, the camera is ok, but not all that great. You have to charge it everyday. Can only store 30 sms before your screen starts blinking full. Camcorder basically sucks. Anything can happen if you accidently press the wrong key. Ringtones suck. If you download some from a different site other than tmobile it wont play because the phone only plays MMF. Basically dont wast your time on this phone. I have to charge this phone everyday even if i dont even use it. Its junk. Everything samsung is junk.
Pros: Sleek, thin, and stylish
Cons: Circuliar Button seems to stick at time. Can't answer calls all the time.
Honestly folks, I was in love with the phone till I got it. The circuliar button sticks alot let's say while playing games... And atleast twice a day when I get a call the phone will keep ringing and there is nothing you can do to answer it. When this happens you have to take out the battery and turn on again. T-Mobile sent me a replacement one and it does the same as my 1st one. Called T-Mobile and told me they have to send me 2 more before anything can be done. Are you Kidding me. Then once that is done then they'll send you a downgraded phone. Anyways, don't by any means buy this phone and get rid of T-Mobile while your at it. Great Customer Service. Get 4 of the same problem'd phone then we'll send you a downgrade... LMAO Way to go T-Mobile
Pros: cvgb
Cons: gggggg
i think it need s some fixing and no wonder its one cent. huh?
Pros: very stylish, like the night feature for the camera
Cons: The speaker phone is very low or want turn on, on command and time to time when phone rings none of the buttons allow me to answer the call.
This is a great phone but the speaker phone do not work well at all and I can't answer all my phone call no matter what button I push.
Pros: unique style and super light
Cons: can't really hear my clearly
I recently just bought this particular phone and i love it! the only downfall is that it is hard to hear on it. But other than that is has perfect pictures and wonderful sounds.
Pros: affordable, practically indestructible, good size, not complicated
Cons: the buttons are a little on the small side, having to remember to lock the keys
After breaking two flip phones I decided that I just wanted something simple again. Rember like 5 years ago Nokia and that big brick of a phone and it was all easy to use....I was feeling nostalgic over my simple brick phone. I went to the cell phone store and the guy walked me around saying things like "This one has voice dial, an instant hydration pack if you get lost in the desert, and can be used as both a can opener and shoe shine kit". I pleaded with him to give me a phone that you just punch in a number and hit the phone button and then it rings through to another person. He told me no, but to come back in a week and he showed me a flier with my T509 on it which I took home and kept under my pillow and would sneak peeks at when I thought my boyfriend wasn't looking. Finally after calling every day for a week the cell phone man said that they had come in, and he had set one aside for me so that I would shut up. I picked it up, took it home and plugged it in. The first thing that I noticed was that - hey - not a flip phone. That's generally something that people look for in a phone, but Aidan, destroyer of all flip phones was very happy that I would not be burying this phone due to flip abuse anytime soon. So decided to test out the messaging - the thinky spelling spirit in the phone, well, I'm sorry to say that we don't get along so much. I want to write "I had to ride the bus this morning" and it says "I had to ride the cup this morning" then I get a text back saying "what did you do to the cup? I hope it wasn't my cup".....damn thinky spelling spirit, and the buttons are a little on the small side so I really get pissed off when I have to delete stuff, so that wasn't my favorite part. But then, I put a blue tooth ear peice with it and MUCH joy was had! I am now one of those people that look like they're talking to themselves in the walmart while shopping, and get those looks and gestures like "are you talking to me". I always wanted to be one of those people. See because now when I'm in the kitchen trying to cook spaghetti and exploding the sauce and setting things on fire, I can run around with the ear piece in saying "dinner will be late" using both hands with the phone sitting on the counter. Oh and another great thing is that the first thing I did after unplugging the phone was drop it, hard, on the kitchen tile. The back of it flew off and the battery fell out and I thought to myself "self - you're a fucking dipshit!: but I picked it up and there wasn't a scratch on it! AMAZING! Oh and then this one time I was at the bar across the street and a little drunk, and I dropped it really hard - that time it got an interesting mushed part on the top. So far I've had this little phone about 5-6 months, dropped it dozens of times, and it still looks great and works fine. This is the best phone ever, and if it is possible that it can break, I will certainly purchase a new one to replace it.
