    Pros: feature packed, ozzing with quality, quick operating software

    Cons: soft ringtone too soft with integrated speaker, pricey, awkward directional keypad

    Generally loved this phone. Feature voice clarity which I'd really appreciate. The ringtone is a bit soft though, rendering quite a few missed calls. But this can be solved by the built in vibrating feature. The software system is relatively quic...k as you flip through the various functions, files and contact list in the phone and reacts to your commands pretty swiftly without significant lag. Usuage is a breeze, although inserting a name unto a typed SMS message from the contact list could be simpler like on a Nokia. Generally, a phone that still doesn't fail to impress me after 1 month of usage. P.S and did i mention: just luv its cool form factor!! Read more Less

    Samsung D500 Overview The new D500 from Samsung features stunning visual design, excellent multimedia and storage capabilities combined with many enhancements. And of course, for the first time, Samsung have included Bluetooth technology into the ph...one. The phone design, on an aesthetic level is very handsome. Small and compact with a slide-up opening system. The phone's keyboard is located on the inside slider which is simply (and smoothly) released by gently pushing a button located on the side of the phone. Not only does the D500 boast great looks, but it's also crammed with excellent features. 1.3 Megapixel Camera Samsung have embedded a SXGA 1.3 Megapixel digital camera into the rear of the D500 mobile phone. Add photo effects and view your photos on the bright, crisp-clear TFT display with over 262 thousand colours. (1.9 inches) Close-ups or cityscapes, your photos will be vibrant and detailed. Store and play back your perfect pictures from the 92MB internal user memory, add to it multi-shot or any other enhancement features like photo effects and then send pictures wirelessly through Bluetooth or Infrared . MPEG4 Video With the D500, you also get an integrated digital camcorder combined into the phone. It will let you shoot movies in MPEG4/H.263 format.     Pros: looks great works great

    Cons: the price

    The itself is completly awesome. but the price is killing many people don't you think you would sell more if you brought the price to at least 234 but that phone cost almost the same as my dorm room.

    I had had the D500 about 8 months. 92MB internal user memory of the D500 is not enough for pictures, MP3 and MP4. If you want to storage pics, MP3 and videos, you would realize its memory is too little. Now I am using the Samsung SGH-P730, it have i...ncluded TFT display over 262k colors, 1Megapixel camera,...ect, like the D500, especially it have RS-MMC (upgrade to 512MB), so I can storage many songs easily, but P730 has not included Bluetooth Read more Less

    Bought a samsung D500 last year in July. I was huge fan of samsung mobiles until I used D500. The phone worked well for 5 months without problems. I loved the look, its quite sleak & sexy. It has great features, you can download songs in it. Voice cl...arity is amazing. But just after five months of careful usage one fine morning the phone stopped showing display screen. I could not read my messages, there was just a plain white screen to look at. I was able to recieve call though. But i could not make any calls as the display was blank and my phone directory could not be managed. I had a warranty card of one year from a local dealer in Pakistan, they actually took money from it even though it was still under the warranty period to fix the phone. They also told me this is a common problem with samsung sliding mobiles. I tried locating some information on samsung website so that I could contact them and tell them about this but there is no information on their website & the the toll free helpline number does not work. I was glad after my phone got fixed but the display went blank again just after usage of 3 weeks. I again went to the local dealer to get it fixed, this time no money was charged but guess what...the phone screwed up once again and this time their is some fault in a wire inside the phone which I have to buy once again. I have been told that this is a common problem with Samsung mobiles & the latest D600 has the same issues. Nothing can be done about it except gettint the wire fixed inside the phone which is used to display screen. I am hoping that people from Samsung would actually read this review so that other poeple who have bought the phone do not suffer as I have. Please do not buy Samsung D500, it sucks & its not worth the cost you have to spend to actually buy it and then get it fixed again & again Read more Less

    i love samsung cellphone it is because very small and cute but the features was so amazing expandable memory.. pls make the camera of cellphone clearer and install it ah radio video editor
