Samsung's a670 combines video and still imaging capabilities with superior messaging and high-speed wireless connectivity, all in a light and compact wireless device.

The a670 allows you to capture two 12-second video clips of your child's first home run, a friend's wedding or birthday party. You can play a clip, set it as your screensaver, or program the clip to play when you turn the phone on or off. Be your own movie director and enhance the video clip with brightness controls, fun frames, color selections and a flash movie light that illuminates your setting during video shoots.

The a670's digital camera comes complete with a variety of settings and the freedom to snap pictures on the fly whenever the urge strikes you. With the a670 you don't have to let the pictures speak for themselves - narrate them a personal message by attaching a text or voice memo. The camera features a multi-shot function that allows you to capture up to seven images in a row with one push of a button, and a self-timer that lets you be part of the action.

A multitude of messaging options are available with the a670. Multimedia Messaging Support (MMS) allows you to send pictures taken with digital camera, while mobile terminated Enhanced Messaging Service (EMS) lets you receive animation and sound with your text messages.

View videos, pictures, Internet sites and more in brilliant color with the 65, 000-color TFT internal screen. The 65, 000-color external STN screen means that even your Picture Caller ID will be seen in crisp, vivid color.

High-speed wireless connectivity means never having to wait to get home before you can find out if your team won the big game. The a670's Get it Now! feature also lets you download games, ring tones and wallpapers that make your phone an extension of your personality.

    Pros: Reception, graphics, easy to use, and the list goes on

    Cons: No embedded games, lackluster ringtones, no 24-hour clock

    I replaced my T720 with the SCH-A670 and so far I'm just thrilled! I found this phone to be easy to use(no longer running for the manual), and very easy to customize with the Get It Now technology. The graphics are outstanding! A camera was no...t a requirement, but I enjoy the spontanaity of being able to capture images of friends and family to use as a screen saver. The blue back-lighting makes the keys stand out, the alpha-numeric text is easy to read. It holds a charge well and best of all - it has fine reception. Reception is very BIG in my book, as I work exclusivly in ancient concrete buildings. With my first phone, I thought it was just poor wireless service...nope, it was just a poor phone. The only complaints I have about my new phone is the embedded ringtones are are totally without merit(boring, boring, boring) and there were no embedded games. With such wonderful graphics the phone ought to have a game or three included! I would have prefered a 24-hour time display option, but oh well. Overall, this is a great little phone! Read more Less

    Pros: long battery life

    Cons: I will have to get back to you on that one.

    The Samsung sch-670 is a great phone. I had three different phones last year and this one is by far the best. Most cell phone cameras don't even claim a megapixel, but the Samsung sch-a670 does claim their 1+ megapixel camera. The battery seems t...o last forever, my phone had one bar and it lasted for days. great phone Read more Less
