The Samsung S1050 is a high-resolution digital camera that is equipped with a true-color filtered 10.1 Megapixel CCD. This lets the Samsung S1050 produce even better images and take detailed photos for printing up to poster size. In addition, the Samsung S1050 has an optical 5x and digital 5x zoom giving 25x total zoom when combined.

The Samsung S1050 has a 3.0" large LCD for improved contrast and color reproduction, allowing you to enjoy a wider and clearer image.

The ASR technology prevents the degradation of image clarity and color common to flash photography. With ASR the effects of camera shake are reduced in low light conditions. You can even take well-exposed, sharper pictures in low light without using a flash at all. It guarantees brighter and more natural pictures.

The Samsung S1050 has an auto sensitivity feature that automatically adjusts sensitivity according to the ambient exposure conditions up to ISO 1600. The high sensitivity setting of ISO 1600 enables you to take clearer indoor pictures in poor light without camera shake or image blur.

Face recognition technology supports more beautiful portrait picture taking. This function automatically recognizes the face of a subject and optimizes focus and brightness in shooting.

    Pros: Simple to use

    Cons: Hard to see display in bright daylight

    We bought this camera a few days before we went on holidays. When we developed the pictured we were really surprised at how sharp and clear the pictures turned out! Great camera for not too much money.It´s not hard to use the features. The only co...n is that the display is very hard to see when you´re in bright daylight. Read more Less

    Pros: Excellent quality for such a cheap buy!

    Cons: None that I could find!

    I found this camera to be excellent, I bought it as a special offer from Argos. I've taken several hundred pictures with it, and I find it to be an excellent "Out-door" Camera. The only reservations I have about this camera is that it ...struggles with pictures at night time - But most cameras seem to have this "problem", or it could be the case that I'm not operating it right. Overall, it's an excellent camera, and money well spent, in my opinion! Read more Less
