to sloppy what ever ur screen name was. u comment on how u should of bought a sony.lol ur not to smart. u should know what ur writing before u leave a comment. who do u think makes sonys screens? one guiss goofy. after u find out ur gonna feel like a hourse. just incase this is to hard for u ,samsung producess all screens for sony and samsung. not the gutts are sony but the screen that reflects light is the same. thank you for ur uneducated comment.

Settled a year ago on the Samsung because of high consumer ratings and on the LCD over the Plasma because of the glare problems reported with the Plasma (we have lots of windows in our living room). Have been so happy with the quality that we bought a second Samsung for the office. Friends and family who have other brands have commented on the picture quality.

The person who reviewed this tv on Feb 28, 2008 should have paid attention to what they were buying - Samsung offers the same television without the glossy screen (LNT4669F). Don't give a bad review because you didn't pay attention to what you were buying - people may want to use this tv in a room where there is not a lot of light/glare and therefore opt for the glossy screen for a brighter, more vivid picture. However, if the room you are going to be in is brighter it is probably best to go with the LNT4669F. Do your research before spending thousands on a tv and don't blame others or give bad reviews for your mistakes.

I recently purchased a Samsung 4671 from my local Best Buy for $1,999!! Working in sales I understand and know how to shop to get the best prices on things. I found the tv that I wanted and found a price on the internet at pricemad.com and got my local Best Buy to match it. For $1,999 the tv is an amazing value and it looks great mounted on my wall. The picture quality is amazing and like a few others I haven't had any problems with a glare. In the room that the tv is in I have crown moldings that have lights in them all the way around the room. Since the lights shoot up I don't have any direct light on the tv so I have no problems watching it with lights on or off. I haven't even had any problems with direct sun light either though. Blu Ray movies are amazing on the set as well. Before this I had a ceiling mounted projector that has been great but is unable to show the deep color that I get out of my Samsung. All in all the picture quality on the set is amazing and I wouldn't have purchased any other lcd. My recomendation is to simply do your research to make sure you get the best price. At $1,999 their's not another set out there that can beat it!!

What a waste. Should be a great tv but ruined by a glossy screen that picks up any light in the room and has glare from outside light. I bought a LCD but ended up with a "plasma like" problem. Better options out there. Should have bought the Sony XBR4 - I find out now it is rated better. The salesman told me of a contrast ratio that Samsung flat out makes up - not close to real.

Overall, I love Samsungâs LNT4671F.
Why I chose LCD over Plasma? Iâm a gamer and I was concerned about image burn, although you can get image burns on the LCD screen also. They donât tell you that.
What do I like about the television? I like the clean lines, itâs finish matches the finish on the ONKYO home theater I purchased. Clean, sharp, bright picture, on high def channels and pretty decent picture on all other channels
What do I not like about the television? No split screen; limited PIP. I like to multitask and this television does not give you a clear option to view two inputs simultaneously. That suks.
Overall, I love it and will not trade it for anything. The Onkyo sound system works hand in h and with the television. I donât think I would have enjoyed the TV as much if I did not have the home theater system.Was this review helpful? Yes - No
