    Awesome picture!

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Nov 5, 2005 | 28 out of 31 found this Samsung LN-R328W review helpful

Pros: Outstanding picture quality, sleek design, HDMI

    Cons: No built-in ATSC tuner

I am in the market currently for an LCD Flat-Panel (I prefer the higher resolution of LCD for video games). The 32" fits nicely into my budget and for the short-term will be in our small family room, later to be transferred into the master bedro...om. Anyhow, after endless research, I landed upon this new Samsung release. I went to Circuit City and Best Buy to see it for myself and the picture quality stands out from the rest. The 3000:1 contrast ratio and excellent blacks make this TV shine. The only other manufacturer that came close in LCD picture quality was Sharp with their Aquos line. I watched closely for any sign of motion blurring but could find none. Good job, Samsung ! Read more Less

    Samsung 32 LCD

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Mar 4, 2006 | 9 out of 11 found this Samsung LN-R328W review helpful

Pros: Design, Sound & location of speakers, Colors, ease of use

    Cons: Blurred images, pixelation

Bought the set at CircuitCity on sale for $1200.00 based on Consumer Reports and was very happy with my decision in the store, especially when compared to higher priced Sharps and Sonys. Once home, hooked up with Component and HDMI, colors were GREA...T, however, pixelation was horrible with live events as was ghosting. Set was for living room, so I decided to return it, for the money, these things should be far superior to the CRT's but the LCD's just aren't. Testing out a 42" Magnavox Plasma next. Read more Less

    bad LCD display

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Oct 11, 2006 | 2 out of 3 found this Samsung LN-R328W review helpful

    Pros: slow warranty service

    Cons: bad picture quality

We had the TV for a month before the LCD disply went bad. The colors turned psychedelic. The problem was intermittent but bad enough to ruin your favorite program. The cable guy looked at the Samsung LCD and said the TV was bad. The TV was under warr...anty. Called Samsung. The repair person said the TV LCD display was bad. 2 months later and I am still waiting for Samsung to approve the exchange for the TV. Bad TV and bad warranty service. I don't advise buying this TV. Read more Less

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Oct 29, 2006 | 1 out of 1 found this Samsung LN-R328W review helpful

Pros: everything about this LCD is unbelievable, ez of use out standing pic quality wounderfull sound, one of the best sets out there on the market well worth the money. Excalnet qualitly for video gaming.

Cons: none, with me anyway. Just love this tv

I bought this LCD back in 2005 in the fall when it came out, I needed something that was gonna replace my computer monitor. Little did I know that i just bought my self one of the best LCD's on the market as far as next gen gaming systems go. Thi...s LCD has won a faw awards for different things, and video gaming was one of them, notice next time you go to best buy or whereever, the much smaller version of this one hooked up to the Xbox360. There's a reason for it. Read more Less

    Samsung DLP 46" HLR 4667

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Aug 22, 2007

Pros: good picture quality (while it lasted)

Cons: the entire tv quit working in 1 1/2 years

We bought the above tv and enjoyed it while it lasted. The tv, which cost over $2300 initially, has now cost us an additional $1000 in labour and parts. This tv is a complete lemon and Samsung customer service does not stand by its products.
