    Samsung LED/DLP

    Pros: A DLP with no lamp or color wheel to change. Plus a great picture at 1080p

    Cons: I have not found any cons yet.

    I looked at all the different types of new tv's. Plasma was nice but came with a big price tag. LCD was ok. it was a little fuzzy or soft on non hd inputs. Plus, it had a larger price tag too. DLP/LCD rear projection had the size and price I like...d. But, it had on going support with lamps and the DLP may need a color wheel down the road. I found the Samsung HL-T6187S which is a DLP but it has LED instead of a lamp and no color wheel. I think I got a great deal with a 61 inch at 1080p and a good price on line. I could buy two or three of these to the price of a 65 inch plasma. I love the picture. But, the sound in no better then my old tube tv. Overall a great looking tv for the price. It should last for years too. Read more Less
