    nothing worked properly

    Pros: looks nice

    Cons: bad recording, doesn't respond properly

    difficult installation, impossible to record from tv while watching another channel, very . Sometimes it didn't respond to anything, did I have to shut the power off and on again to get control back. In short: worthless.

    Pros: looks good, low cost

    Cons: poor editing capability

    This is the only DVD recorder I have owned; I made a poor choice. When you record a program onto a DVD-R, you have the option to then delete pieces of it, like commercials. But it doesn't work well, it leaves remnants of the deleted parts. Those ...remnants show up during playback and can even cause it to sort of skip. I don't know how well other recorders work but I don't recommend this one. Read more Less
