Originally conceived as a solo project for New York Citybased artist David Moltz, Salt Samovar traded the lofi confins of the bedroom for the road in 2006 with the help of former members of Moonraker, FEAST and Mattison. The collective's unique blend of blistering psychedelic rock and fire and brimstoneinfused Americana can be heard on their 2007 debut, Old Joy, New Joy.
