Sad Rockets is the project of Andrew Pekler, a Berlin-based multi-instrumentalist born in Uzbekistan and raised in California. His diverse background is reflected in his bedroom studio-crafted music, which mixes rock, funk, and electronica with a filmic feel and a sense of humor. Sad Rockets debuted in 1998 with the Source release Plays; the next year, Pekler followed it with Once Upon a Time Called Now on Morbid.
