Rufus Thibodeaux
Thibodeaux is the consummate Cajun-fiddle session player and sideman. He worked at Jay Miller's Crowley studios in the '50s, playing various stringed instruments on everything from blues to rockabilly and touring with Bob Wills and George Jones. But he is best known for a long association as sideman to Jimmy C. Newman: Thibodeaux's fiddle added Cajun spice to Newman's sometimes bland country fare.
