    Considering this was four years before the lunar landing and only 2 years after JFK. This album is phenomenal. A pre modern day gem that has stood the test of time after over 40 years. If you need a lift play this timeless classic. This album is one ...of my top 5 desert island discs. Nuff said. Read more Less

    This is a masterpiece! Quite possibly the finest album ever made. The Beatles at this time were in an artistic zone few if any have ever known. From the breathtakingly beautiful harmonies of " If I Needed Someone" and "Nowhere Man"...; through the timeless romantic ballads " Michelle" and "Girl" and the heart-stopping "In My Life". Tremendous innovation "Norwegian Wood" and brazeningly cool rockers "Run For Your Life" and "Think For Yourself". The Beatles at their peak. Everyone should own a copy. Read more Less

    Cons: There are no cons in my opinion

    Rubber Soul one of the Beatles best CDS of All time!! Every song on this CD clearly shows the Beatles talent for writing music. Some of the songs on the album are "Drive My Car", "Norwegian Wood", and "Run For Your Life".... This is one of the rare CD in which I like every track on the album. If you are near any music store like Coconuts or FYE, I highly recommend this purchase!!! Read more Less

    Cons: a bit too folksy, too drowsy

    This album is incredible! And whether or not you agree the Beatles are the best band ever (which they definitely are), you know there's something about them when everyone is psychotically obssessed w/ them or thinks they're the most awful rub...bish ever. Read more Less

    Favourite Beatles Record

    Every song is a gem! This is my favourite Beatles record, though I also rate Sgt. Pepper and Revolver almost as high. From the opening riff of "Drive My Car" to the fade of "Run For Your Life," this is one unbelievable listening experience.
